Her hobbies include fishing, reading, horses, the surf & sand, mountains & desert, art, live theatre and classic movies.

Margie was President of the Bellflower Chapter of Soroptimist International (a community service organization) in 1993-1994, and has held various offices with that organization during the past 10 years. She's a member of the Bellflower Chamber of Commerce and was involved with the Anaheim Union High School District for a number of years, having served on their Blue Ribbon Task Force Committee. She has been an active member of her childrens' High School Booster Club and served as President two years. Margie has served as liasion for Su Casa (a non-profit shelter) for two years, and is also active in community and social work through the Soroptimist organization.
