Gary and his brother, Derek, began working in their father's law office way back when they were still in college. The Law Office of Virgil W. Jackson had been in the business of representing injured workers since 1971. Virgil's sons assisted in all aspects of the representation, learning the profession in the old-fashioned way--as apprentices of their father; and, each went on to graduate from law school to become licensed members of the State Bar. When Virgil Jackson was ready to "retire" to the desert, Gary and Derek relocated their office from Los Angeles to Downtown Long Beach to be nearer to their homes.The Law Offices of Jackson & Jackson have been carrying on the family tradition of assisting injured accident victims--whether the injury occurs on or off of the job, in an automobile or on a sidewalk. Their father is only semi-retired and continues to give vigorous representation of his clients in Palm Desert and fatherly advice to his sons in Long Beach.
